.032″ thick AFM (Aluminum Foamet Material). AFM gaskets are made with an aluminum core with a chemically blown; compounded nitrile synthetic thin foam-like rubber layer bonded to both sides. Temperature resistance of over 250?F (122?C). AFM rubber has a 85% recovery while maintaining strong torque retention. Re-torqueing; gasket sealers or silicone beads are not required. OEM replacement reference 25225-93; 25225-93A; 25225-93B. Note: Cometic advises to use .032″ thickness AFM to help minimize effecting camshaft end play.
